My aching body today was the result of nearly 3 hours of tubing yesterday at the Snow Trails Ski Resort near Mansfield. Me, Rod and the kids along with Rod’s friend Lee and his girlfriend Lauren took off early Sunday morning and headed south to Mansfield. We were going to go Saturday but the 8 inches of snow we got through Friday evening and Saturday made us change our plans. I think Rod still wanted to go on Saturday but I told him I was not going because of the weather. So we postponed it a day.

One really cool thing about this tubing park is that they have a power “carpet” that you hop on and ride back to the top of the hill. That definitely made it easier to enjoy this outdoor fun. There were 5 tubing lanes and the the 3rd lane had one hell of a hill in it. It definitely gave you some air as you went over it. They let you link your legs together with other people and you can go down the hill in groups up to 6. We all went down linked together and it was hilarious because the first 2 people in our link ended up facing us as we were jetting down the hill. 

We definitely plan to go back this winter. They have a family day again in February and that saved us a few dollars and each of us got a slice of pizza and soda with the ticket.
